Your opportunity
You will be a part of building and implementing creative content and influencer marketing strategies in the DACH region, working in the regional DACH marketing team. You will move between internal and external stakeholders and support the creation and rollout of global and local brand campaigns.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute local content campaigns that convey the Klarna message in the most effective way in the DACH region with a clear focus on business objectives and KPIs
  • Develop strategies for local influencer campaigns and their extension on social channels
  • You’re the go-to person in the region for all projects and activations on regional content and social channels, paid and owned
  • You will work closely with the global Social Media team to localize global initiatives
  • Create editorial content for our regional marketing newsletter
  • Be on top of pop cultural and social topics as well as seasonal occasions in the DACH region, providing insights and inspiration to regional and global teams alike
  • Understand the value of social/digital media to advance Klarna’s business and communications goals
  • Start small and learn fast: In accordance with our leadership principles, you proactively spot current trends and business opportunities in which social activations can make a strong business impact for Klarna, pitching them to internal and external stakeholders and constantly iterating on learnings.

You should have

  • Native or fluent proficiency in German
  • Good understanding of the DACH region
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in influencer and/or content marketing and creative planning, preferably in a high-growth and/or retail/ecommerce or agency environment
  • You have a proven track record of creating and executing impactful and innovative content and influencer strategies that gets people talking and meet business objectives as well as agreed KPIs
  • You have a real passion for content, social media, and influencer marketing and how to authentically place a brand
  • You know your way around all social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Pinterest and you love creating content that disrupts and engages
  • You have experience developing creative content in both written and (audio)visual forms and have previously worked with creating content for newsletter sendouts
  • You have experience working on the DACH market and have the ability to gain regional insights that help the regional but also the global team to create strategies and concepts that appeal to the local audience
  • Preferably experience from a start up or fintech company
