Responsibilities

■Role Description:

The main role of the Customer Success Partner is to strengthen the partnership between Infarm and our B2B customers (retail stores such as supermarket), and to work with the head office marketing staff and the urban farmers responsible for harvesting vegetables in the store to plan and execute promotions and campaigns based on the customer attributes of the stores.

Their goal is to optimize the buying experience for end consumers who purchase infarm vegetables, act as a key point of contact at Infarm for our B2B customers, and ultimately drive increases in revenue across their customer portfolio through Infarm vegetables. To this end, they regularly engage in client meetings to review sales numbers, collect feedback, formulate hypotheses, create sales plans, and modify product varieties according to customer needs.  The CSP is also play a role as a vital contributor to manage any incoming client requests, feedback, or issues, and to escalate them internally to the respective teams.

■Explanation of responsibilities:

Account Management and Client Interaction:

  • Lead regular in-person meetings and online meetings with B2B clients
  • Attend internal meeting with relevant departments and personnel to exchange feedback and discuss important updates

Management of Client Requests:

  • Manage additional deliveries. Adjust and respond to the requests for variety changes
  • Coordinate and respond to the requests for changes in operation schedules
  • Coordinate and respond to the requests for Infarm dedicated Point of Sales (POS) materials and additional POS

Customer Training:

  • Provide product introduction support and training for new customers
  • Provide ongoing training and follow-up as needed

Sales & Revenue Management:

  • Review sales results, analyze trends by product and store, share potential issues and propose solutions
  • Together with Urban Farmer employees in charge of harvesting vegetables, plan and execute promotions and campaigns according to store customer attributes

Requirements

  • Business-level Japanese and English skills
  • Experience in sales and marketing or sales floor management at (or for) a retailer, or experience in a fruit and vegetable purchasing department or in the food industry.
  • Ability to formulate hypotheses, plan and propose new sales promotions using quantitative and qualitative information collected from inside and outside the store.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to communicate in English. (Participation in meetings to exchange information with Customer Success Partners in other countries is expected)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, advertising, or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food-related laws and regulations, such as the Food Labeling Law, is preferred.
