Working in B2B Marketing at Klarna means using world-class marketing strategies to ensure decision-makers know and love Klarna. As a business growing at pace we are looking for a B2B Marketing associate who can help Klarna build market presence and drive merchant / retailer adoption in Portugal by executing campaigns, delivering sales collateral and assets and running in region B2B events. This role requires superb organisational skills combined with a hands on approach to marketing activity.

At Klarna, we look beyond traditional B2B tactics to surprise and delight the industry. You will support the Marketing Manager by owning the planning and execution of a variety of B2B campaigns and activations in Portugal and report your campaign results. You will help develop  and execute the right marketing messages and campaign plans to accelerate new merchant acquisition and awareness of Klarna for Business through media partnerships, sponsorships, events, and multi-channel campaigns.

What you will do

  • You are an adaptable, resourceful and strong marketer with great project management skills with a passion to grow your experience in marketing and e-commerce.
  • Play a pivotal role in building Klarna’s B2B presence in Portugal supporting the B2B Marketing Manager ensuring we show up in the most Klarna-like, creative way.
  • Set the sales team up for success by optimising the website and collateral required to win in Portugal maintaining the 5-star quality of the output and ensuring all activities engage top prospects.
  • With support from the B2B marketing manager you will research and build initial relationships with media partners to negotiate cost effective and impactful partnerships, inclusive of media buys, event sponsorships, content, and other creative opportunities.
  • Localize the global Marketing plan and specific initiatives to drive merchant acquisition in Portugal.
  • Help execute launch marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and preference.
  • Support in developing lead generation campaigns for all business sizes, targeting MQL goals.
  • Work with teams consisting of digital marketers, copy-writers, brand marketers, partner marketers, and PR professionalsHelp update and report key plans, results and learnings to the Marketing Lead.
  •  Contribute culturally to keep Klarna as a fantastic place to work and build that reputation across all new & emerging markets.
