We are looking for:
a new member for one of our portfolio companies that is a European leader in multicultural and ethnic grocery delivery. They aim to bring people closer to their home and connect different communities to each other through the love for food.
What will keep you challenged?
- Building and leading a team of 10+ people to greatness - hire top talents and help them perform, grow and develop as professionals
- Devising the mid and long-term strategy of the expansion team in Germany
- Guiding the team responsible for the new location/city launches
- Being one of the first teams on the ground and being responsible for the new location operations KPIs: Sales, Revenues, Fulfilment, Time to prepare orders, Completing orders, Delivery time and Delivery cost
- Providing leadership and guidance to the expansion team to guarantee the excellent and punctual expansion of our markets across the country.
- Working with headquarters and implementing best practices from our other markets
Which traits contribute to your success?
- Several years of experience in high demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, etc.)
- E-commerce or on-demand fulfillment experience is highly preferred
- Prior experience in building and leading operations teams and looking after large organizations
- Affinity for using data to make strategic decisions
- Ability to learn fast and adapt your strategies and tactics to the dynamic world of super-fast delivery. Super-fast delivery means sometimes doing other things super-fast
- A desire to work in a dynamic environment at one of the fastest growing startups in Europe
- Hands-on mentality and willing to get your hands dirty
- Very good communication skills and proficient in both written and spoken English and German
- Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
