About Klarna
Klarna was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2005. Since then we've changed the banking industry forever. And now we're creating the world's smoothest shopping experience. We serve over 90 million consumers worldwide, and partner with 250,000 merchants – with a new merchant joining us every 8 minutes. Including some of the world's leading brands, such as H&M, ASOS, IKEA, Adidas, Samsung and Lufthansa. Our offices are spread over 17 different markets, hosted by 5000+ employees from 100+ nationalities.
We are looking for an internal marketing and communications specialist to join Klarna’s EDC team.
The EDC team exists to make Klarna’s 1500+ engineers feel inspired at work and to make the engineering culture flourish. The team’s community managers are working closely with our 5 tech hubs by creating activities, events, and social conditions to make the Klarna the ideal place to work as an engineer. The team reports directly to the CTO and works closely with the company’s engineers; it functions as an enabler for various culture-related initiatives and ensures the information flow within the engineering organization.
Obviously, communication is of great essence to succeed. Therefore, the team is looking for a talented, marketing and communications specialist with the ability to bring the communication together; to plan, coordinate, and execute top-notch communication boosting the engagement even further. As the team’s “marketing”-related expert, the person must be flexible and solution-oriented.
Despite having an internal focus, the comms specialist should also collaborate with other relevant stakeholders of the organization including the employer branding team. Occasionally supports external activities and events.
