As Senior User Experience Researcher at Comtravo, you will lead designing, planning, and conducting user research from developing user recruitment through to test moderation, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to inform our product strategy and roadmap to create simple and effective solutions used by travelers and agents worldwide.  We are a tech-savvy team of travel professionals and customer service heroes with the common goal of simplifying business travel with an AI-based approach. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You take over ownership of a product helping thousands of users in their daily life by being their advocate inside Comtravo.
  • You lead on designing, planning, and conducting the user research process from developing user recruitment through to test moderation, analysis, and reporting.
  • You model insights gained from user research into artifacts to enhance organizational understanding of our users – such as personas and user journey maps - and communicate these to the rest of the organization.
  • You collaborate closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to turn user data into actionable requirements that feed into Product strategy.
  • You help to create a regular cadence of user research by ensuring we have a pool of participants, a standard methodology, and create a research repository.
  • You facilitate discovery workshops with internal and external stakeholders to define opportunities within our product.
  • You promote user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have 4+ years of relevant work experience, including experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices. 
  • You possess a thorough knowledge of managing, executing, and analyzing both quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
  • You are obsessed with understanding the needs of our users in a quantitative and analytical way – with a proven record of driving change through UX Research.
  • You are a Self Starter, who is able to act autonomously and burn with passion for the field of UX Research.
  • You have experience working with research agencies and vendors and conducting research in international markets.
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering insights and evangelizing research.
  • You are a team player who is used to agile work within cross-functional development teams and comfortable with aligning with all types of stakeholders.
  • You have a solid understanding of user interface/user interaction design principles and current web and mobile interaction patterns.
  • You are passionate about travel and tourism.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (must) and English.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Visual Communications, Design, or a related field would be a plus.
