DVP Engineer - EDS (f/m/x)

Your Tasks

  • Working with our Tier 1 supplier, you are responsible for the verification and validation of LV and HV wiring harnesses and electrical schematics
  • Select and create relevant requirements per program and gain agreements to the requirements from the supplier
  • Plan and create the design verification plans
  • Carry out vehicle and test board level testing and produce test reports
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure that our requirements are adhered too
  • Follow up on open issues to bring to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Participate in durability reviews
  • Review the DFMEA with suppliers and assist in updating the documents

Our Requirements

  • You have gained a technical university degree, preferably in Electric, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
  • Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in the field of DVP (wiring harness / electrical distribution systems)
  • Extensive experience of DVP, sign off processes and creating requirements
  • Solid understanding of vehicle EDS and electrical systems
  • Good working knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of APQP advantageous 
  • You are fluent in English. (Fluent in German is a plus)
