Website Strategy Manager

sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for website strategy manager to join our global marketing & communications team. As website strategy manager, you will be responsible for management of, with a focus on creating the long term vision of in order to maximize our business goals. You will be responsible for driving forward conversion rate optimization and delivering improvements to the site on a day-to-day basis to drive significant business growth. Working with key teams across the business, you will utilize analytics and reporting to surface trends and themes in the data and offer insight and recommendations to improve conversion through the buyer journey and usability enhancements. 

You will be collaborating closely with various teams and stakeholders including program managers, analysts, product leads, designers, and the broader marketing and communications team to surface trends and themes in site performance and offer recommendations to improve engagement through usability enhancements.

  • Develop and execute’s strategy to grow visibility and engagement of our products and services  with our target audiences
  • Monitor, manage and upgrade the website to ensure reliable performance and accessibility
  • Conduct research to understand areas of website growth/enhancement and apply learnings to inform site improvements 
  • Ensure web content is SEO compliant to drive visibility by search engines and organic lead generation
  • Build an A/B testing strategy and devise user behavior mapping testing approach to improve user engagement metrics
  • Act as the day to day manager for all content and technical updates needed for the site


  • Experience in a website management, digital project management or similar role
  • Experience working with all relevant coding languages (PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS) and working within multiple CMS frameworks
  • Experience in running a website migration/redesign project 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and are adept at analyzing data, gaining insight and building reports. 
  • KNowledge of A/B testing and UX design principles and have knowledge of both the technical and content side of SEO.
  • Excited about problem solving and have an  analytical mindset 
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively to organize and prioritize projects based on business need
