As our VP Marketing & Communications, you will be part of sennder’s core management team. You will own and drive the development for all Branding, Communications, and Marketing initiatives across sennder. The role is based in our Berlin or Amsterdam office - you will report into sennder’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) who has full P&L responsibility.
YOUR KEY CHALLENGES:
Developing Europe’s #1 logistics brand: building on sennder’s commercial and operational success, you will steer sennder to be the #1 logistics brand in Europe. You will be an integral driver of sennder’s goal to become the largest Full Truck Load (FTL) freight forwarder in Europe by revenues
Owning full branding, messaging, and positioning: pioneer all initiatives, from ideation to creation, for sennder’s Branding, Communications, and Marketing across all offices
Managing a centralised team: lead all marketing-related FTEs within sennder through two direct reports: Head of Branding & Communications and Head of Marketing Automation
Driving retention for shippers and carriers: leverage latest insights in branding and B2B marketing to drive scalable retention on both the demand (shipper) and supply (carrier) side throughout the full lifecycle
TO GET THERE YOU WILL NEED:
You have the toolkit and mindset for sennder’s 5x growth over the next 3 years.
B2B marketing background: established experience in all marketing dimensions in B2B environments, ideally in industries of high-value transactions (> EUR 1M contact volumes)
±10 years of professional experience: experience in hyper-growth and fast-paced environments (consulting, investment banking, PE/VC-backed companies, etc), with around 6 years of experience in leading a team
Marketing & CRM automation expertise: in-depth insight into and hands-on experience in marketing & CRM automation, with a focus on email and re-activation campaigns
Analytical mindset: strong analytical and data-based approach to find the most high-yield, effective channels to drive customer engagement
