unu is currently looking for a VP Growth candidate with a proven track-record in scaling strong global marketing & sales organisation, responsible to provide growth planning, strategic leadership and functional excellence.

So far we have achieved growing the company up to >$10m revenue, won multiple growth awards (incl. Top 5 German growth startups by Gründerszene) and expanded to 3 new markets but this is still the beginning. We are planning to scale our business quickly internationally across our multiple business models (private customers, corporate fleets and mobility-as-a-service). As a start-up and the “David” in the mobility industry, we always strive for creative solutions & commitment to make a substantial positive impact on the world and unlock the potential of all major cities globally.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership, Vision and Strategic Planning
  • You will be responsible for our growth, meaning our revenue topline and therefore the strategy & execution in scaling our performance marketing & sales organization internationally.
  • With your in-depth technical knowledge of all growth teams (Performance Marketing, CRM, Inside Sales and Local Sales) you will guide the teams in their executionManaging projects that will unlock new growth levers (new country launches, marketing roadmaps, product-market adaptations, operational processes evolutions…)
  • Besides the execution, you will be responsible for the entire Growth strategy process, which you have to regularly plan & (re-)calibrate together with your team, partners and other stakeholders and communicate actively within the organization
  • Supporting sales, lead-acquisition, product and operational team (centrally and locally) with the data and leadership they need to improve performance, processes and roll-out of their respective activities.

  • People Management & Leadership
  • Directly reporting to the General Manager, you are line-managing the Country Directors and Functional Leads of the Growth teams (Performance Marketing, CRM, Inside Sales and Local Sales)
  • Be an excellent team lead (hiring, personal development, team building), to lead and grow the growth team with confidence and success.
  • Furthermore, you have to have in-depth technical knowledge of marketing & sales to guide the teams execution in close collaboration with the country leads

WHAT YOU BRING

  • First of all, you should be passionate about our values - connection, creative challenger, simple perfection, authenticity, we are david - and our vision to create a mobility solution that fully connects people to their city. We’d really like if you bring us the following:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as an Executive, Head of Growth, Head of New Markets or Country Manager at a fast-scaling international organizations
  • Proven track-record in growing revenues internationally at >100% using sustainable tactics & strong team leadership
  • Extremely data-driven decision maker with strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Experience in building, growing and leading large teams for multiple markets
  • Good knowledge of tools being used for Performance Marketing (Analytics, Adwords, Facebook), CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot) and BI (Tableau & Co)
  • Ability to travel & work in a multicultural environment with people in the field
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). German, French and/other European language is a plus
