Your Mission

Together with professional teammates You will mainly work on a complete re-design of the NFON PBX Dialplan and other feature development to enhance the NFON PBX FeatureSet

- Designing and developing the voice infrastructure, voice features and the PBX Dialplan
- Debugging and fixing issues in the voice infrastructure and Asterisk PBX
- Close collaboration with our Operations and UC Teams
- Proactive presentation of your own proposals regarding solutions and technologies for the development process
- Expansion of our back-end architecture and establishment of software lifecycle and quality assurance processes (unit test, UI test, build, code analysis)
- Assuring knowledge transfer and close collaboration with your colleagues to help everybody to improve

Your profile

- Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) or relevant tech experience
- 2+ years of working experience as engineer for voice platforms
- In-depth understanding of voice services and PBX feature development (e.g. Asterisk Apps & Dialplan, OpenSIP/Kamailio Proxy/Loadbalancer, SIP protocol or FreeSWITCH
- Experienced with Linux/Unix, especially the Debian distribution
- Experience with MySQL/Couchbase
- Perl, Python or Go are your choice regarding OOP
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) – any other language is a plus
- Respectfully interacting with others and willing to work in a team
- An analytical thinker, good communication skills
