About the role

UX Researchers at Klarna leverage mixed methods to deliver insights and drive better product experiences for our customers. In addition, our UX Research team supports insights work from Designers, Product Managers, Marketers, and others to democratize user research and create the most timely and accurate vision of our customers’ needs. 

As Research Operations lead, you will design and implement systems that enable Klarnauts to surface and deliver crucial customer insights. You will partner closely with Researchers, Designers, and Product Managers to gain a deep understanding of the operational requirements for insights work at Klarna. You will take a strategic and iterative approach to operations so our systems and protocols continuously evolve and respond to changing business needs and product priorities.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement systems and processes that enable insights work across Klarna, including participant recruitment solutions, research tooling, insights repository, and others.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, evaluating new vendors in response to business needs and partnering with Legal, Procurement, and Privacy teams to ensure that engagements are efficient, productive, and compliant 
  • Develop flexible, scalable solutions for research participant recruitment, including crafting internal systems and / or leveraging external vendors as needed. 
  • Coordinate and standardize research processes to ensure that research insights are delivered in an efficient, consistent, high-quality manner across product domains. Partner with UX Researchers to create enablement materials for research, including templates, guides, and trainings on key processes
  • Other operational responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Research Operations or program management role
  • Familiarity with mixed methods research methodologies to advise on recruitment strategies, processes, and tools
  • Knowledge of data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR), vendor management, tools procurement, and budget management
