The Role
We are looking for someone to join our recently formed Product Partnership group to accelerate the growth of our Marketplace and improve our partners’ experience on our platform. We are looking for someone fluent in the technical aspects of technology partnerships who is passionate about the partner experience. This role reports to the Head of Product Partnerships.
The core mission will be to co-own the Marketplace integration submission and partner request queue. It will involve evaluating new partner fit to our program, providing technical support during the development phase for strategic partners, completing full integration review (Functional, UX, security review…). It will also require a programmatic mindset to constantly think through further automating our review processes alongside our Product & Engineering group.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating new potential integration partners aligned with Personio’s integration strategy
- Being the primary day-to-day liaison for Personio’s technical partners.
- Manage the Personio Marketplace integration submission and approval queue which includes carrying out technical QA (Functional, UX, Security) assessments for new integrations.
- Investigating and resolving escalated issues and offering troubleshooting for Strategic partners.
- Communicating the details and strategy of Personio’s ecosystem to both engineering teams and non-technical client teams
- Developer tools and procedures that help scale marketplace submission and approvals.
- Measuring and communicating the business impact of Personio’s ecosystem
- Championing the role of the ecosystem and partner experience within Personio
Org Setup:
- Reporting into Head of Product Partnerships
- Close collaboration with Product Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management, and Engineering.
What you need to succeed
- 3-5 years of experience supporting technical partnerships and integrations, developer relations, or similar technical role with external stakeholders; CS background preferred
- Experience with B2B SaaS business models, comfort engaging with technical stakeholders, and leveraging technology innovation to unlock customer value.
- Partner centric: You understand how to present our value proposition to other SaaS companies and 3rd party developers to encourage them to integrate with Personio
- Strong understanding of software development, and more specifically, the software development needs of partners and the development community — you don’t need to write production-ready code in this role, but an understanding of the web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) is required.
- Structured thinking: comfort with numbers, details, and ambiguity; ability to break down complex problems into key levers.
- Operational: Comfortable creating new workflows with adaptable systems and processes in a fluid environment.
- Collaborative: Proven ability to work across different departments and levels of management, with strong stakeholder communication skills
- Fluency in English is required and one other European language (German, Spanish) is appreciated.
- Team Tool stack: Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, G-suite, Notion, Slack
