Tech Lead - Systems Administrator

As part of the central IT team, leading the Systems Administration part you will be responsible for overall management of this aspect of the IT landscape globally. You will take ownership of the company wide software solutions in place, develop and improve on them as well as take a critical look at the tech stack to reduce the number of overlapping services and optimize our SaaS portfolio.

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in the field of Windows Servers and IT infrastructure. 
  • Good communication, collaboration and interaction skills 
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Very good technical and soft skills to manage customer support experience
  • Must be team player with quality of ownership and accountability to drive IT tasks independently and assist team to achieve the goal
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with end-users, peers, senior management, vendors and team members in different geo locations

 

Responsibilities: -

  • Day to day management and support on variety of SaaS applications
  • Evaluate new applications based on requests and operational needs.
  • Work together with different stakeholders such as HR, Finance, Legal, Security.
  • Ensure all services are running smoothly and processes are optimized.
  • Work closely together with the IT teams on common projects and ensure the continuation and improvement of the IT landscape at Infarm.
  • Work together with vendors on new and old contract, improve and optimize the same 
  • Modify and further develop areas such as MDM based on requirements from legal & security as well as feedback from employees.
  • Scale, Establish & Optimize Technology &  processes in Hyper growth environment.
  • Grow the tech stack of the IT team as and when needed.
  • Keep yourself and the team updated on related topics, including emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory/compliance-related concerns.
  • Act as an escalation point for our Service Delivery team as well as assist with support 

 

Desired Technical Skills

  • Google Workplace, Gmail, GSuite, MDM and related components
  • Profound knowledge of Mobile Device Management solutions, preferably Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Jamf, and Google MDM.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS as well as Android and iOS.
  • Experience with administering cloud-based identity management solutions.
  • Familiar with providing end-user remote support.
  • Google Workspace, Atlassian services (Confluence, Jira Software and Jira Service Management) and Microsoft.
  • Windows Server, VMware, RedHat Linux, Cisco UCS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills on Desktop, Laptop, Printers, Tablets, Mobile and Audio /Video conference devices
  • Experience on Server \ Storage (Dell\IBM\HP\Lenovo) 
  • Windows Domain, Web based applications, site management like A records, DNS.
  • Architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units
  • Active Directory, Azure, Cloud system management, DHCP, DNS, Office365 E3/E5, , MS Enterprise Mobility + Security E3, Intune
  • Azure Portal Hand on experience in IaaS/PaaS/Key vaults/Certificate for designing, managing, new implementation for business website integration on PaaS with SQL/MySQL integration.
  • Azure portal usage monitoring and optimizing for cost saving.
  • Patch management experience on product line SCCM/BigFix etc. for software distribution deployment for End user’s system\server with proper change request management process & supporting global team for day to day queries.
  • Working experience on On Prem and Cloud Server Backup / restoration process with exposure on product like Acronis Cyber 
  • Working Knowledge of tools such as Nagios, syslog, desktop remote support, IBM Bigfix, MDM, Intune, JIRA 
  • Windows Server administration, working knowledge of VMware Esxi (Vcenter, DRS, HA, Upgrade), performing firmware upgrade activity for server/storage periodically
  • Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and documentation of Windows infrastructure.
  • New Server infrastructure solution designing / finalizing BOM with vendor 
  • At least one Help Desk Software i.e. JIRA/BMC remedy/ServiceNow /Manage engine
  • Anti Virus systems such as Microsoft Defender/Symantec/TrendMicro 
  • Creation of AntiVirus related policy, managing/monitoring alerts from the same and resolving issues.
  • Experience of working with IT security to implement SIEM, SOC , VAPT, Thread Identify and mitigation. 
  • Development Monthly measurable , performance dashboard for self and team
  • Periodical meeting with director on KPI Slides preparation 
  • License management for various application and contract management
  • Working knowledge on fixing windows/VMware vulnerability fixtures for platform level with application team engagement for application vulnerabilities for collaboration for closure with testing and production movement.
  • Perform daily checklist task for hardware and software, health of systems, technical documentation, performance monitoring and systems availability
  • Ready to stretch and work on extending working hours and weekends as tech infra demands that

 

Good to have

  • Understanding of Network such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, voice, network security
  • Knowledge on firewall, router, switches and communication links 
  • Understanding on Corp security standards, configuration and policies 
  • Experience with hands-on scripting (PowerShell) for building automation is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of network administration.
  • Be curious to try new software solutions.
  • Work experience in a hyper growth environment is a plus.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science , Computer or comparable.

 

Certifications Desired : MCSE or similar
