About the Talent Acquisition area

Our mission starts with Talent Acquisition, a team that aims to attract the right talent and ensure candidates have an amazing experience while getting to know SumUp. 

Our Talent Acquisition team is currently made up of people from 12 different countries, and we’re growing and diversifying each month. We’re split across 4 main locations - Berlin, São Paulo, Sofia and Chile And we are key supporters of SumUp’s ongoing agile transformation, helping stakeholders approach their hiring needs in an agile manner.

What you’ll do

  • Drive recruiting Strategy for one of our Tribes;
  • Be a Servant Leader for our Tribe tech recruiting team, mentoring and developing them;
  • Partner with the main stakeholders driving recruiting processes end-to-end, from designing positions with hiring managers to put together sourcing strategy and negotiating details of offers.;
  • Amaze our candidates with all the possibilities we can offer at SumUp;
  • Lead Talent Acquisition projects in diverse areas: candidate assessment, candidate attraction, interviewer and candidate training, recruiting analytics and whatever great ideas you may have;
  • Provide insights about the market and our hiring needs to our Employer Branding and other teams, so that they can adjust our candidate attraction strategies.;
  • Determine strategies to ensure diverse teams and an inclusive workplace culture.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You care about people's development and you know how to be a servant leader;
  • You love recruiting and you can't think of anything more critical for a company than to recruit right and fast;
  • You have 7+ years of experience running recruiting processes for tech positions, end-to-end;
  • You speak fluent English - you'll be part of a truly global team :)
  • You work well in constantly changing environments and enjoy the atmosphere of autonomy and the speed of start-ups;
  • Your hiring managers see you as a true advisor on how to bring awesome people onboard;
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships;
  • You have strong interviewing skills - behavioural and technical interviews are part of your daily life;
  • You’re results-oriented, easy-going, entrepreneurial and passionate about recruiting.
