About the Role

We are hiring a Team Lead (all gender) to join our Operations and lead and improve one of our Operations functions. The role includes building and operating an efficient process related to order and fulfillment. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an operational team, building efficient processes, and is familiar with order and management processes. S/he must maintain professional customer (supplier partner) interactions to interpret those needs, provide solutions, and/or guide those needs to be addressed by the right stakeholders internally.  As such, creative thinking and leadership in managing multiple projects across shared teams and resources while delivering on deadlines is a must.

In this role you will:
  • Manage a team of up to 10 Operations Specialists
  • Possess a player-coach mentality to both lead and execute with high accuracy and speed
  • Monitor and drive team operational KPIs related to order and fulfillment due in a transactional environment
  • Support and actively develop team members to improve KPIs and develop junior employees into leaders  
  • Ensure team members consistently provide accurate information to ZAGENO customers and suppliers regarding their orders
  • Assist the leadership team to manage operations within the operations team
  • Ensure all relevant communications and data are updated and recorded
  • Maintain a solid understanding of company products and services
  • Handle any escalation of supplier and customer order issues in English and German
  • Effectively communicate feedback across departments for improved customer and supplier experience
  • Help define process and system improvements to facilitate transactions volume scaling
  • Handle ad-hoc projects/assignments

About You

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • Excitement to learn & master our various platforms
  • 3+ year of operational experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience working with performance targets and motivating team members to exceed goals
  • Background in writing and providing feedback 
  • Experience finding solutions for operational and people management challenges
