The Role

At Personio, Customer Experience is more than a specific role. Rather, it is an integral part of our company culture and defines the way our customer teams work. As part of the Customer Experience team, you will help our customers understand the product, gather feedback, drive customer growth, and help take HR processes to the next level - the long-term satisfaction of our customers is a significant part of your success!
For our Growth Team - we are looking for a Team lead to manage and be responsible for customer growth and retention in operations. Your goal is to ensure that our customers use Personio to its fullest extent in the long term. Specifically, this means achieving expansion goals and related KPIs such as conversion rates, customer lifetime and net retention.

You will also be responsible for hiring, onboarding and managing a team of approximately 10 people. Particular focus is placed on the continuous training and development of your team.

Key Impact Areas: 

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop a team of around 10 Customer Growth Managers
  • Full responsibility for the internal onboarding of new Customer Growth Managers
Strategy & Training
  • Develop and implement MRR expansion measures for the achievement of our sales targets
  •  Create and facilitate internal sales and negotiation trainings to best prepare your team for growth
Analytics & Collaboration
  • Drive data-driven analysis of internal processes to drive efficiency regularly 
  • Work cross-functionally with teams within Customer Success, Finance and Sales departments

What you need to succeed

  • Leadership experience: you have 2+ years of leadership experience in a sales or after sales role, preferably in a B2B software environment.
  • B2B sales experience:  you have 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in a software environment 
  • Analytical skills: you are an accurate forecaster and have a strong analytical background
  • People skills: you create a motivating environment for your team, identify strengths and development potentials of your employees and drive further development
  • Languages: You are a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken German and English skills and a strong customer and service orientation
  • Tools: ideally, you already have experience with Salesforce, Gainsight or Hubspot
