Using state-of-the-art technologies, such as NLP and machine learning techniques, we are automating our fulfillment pipeline. This enables our in-house travel experts to focus on complex requests and individual needs of our clients.

To accompany us on our growth path, we are looking for a System Administrator who will be responsible for structuring and managing the IT infrastructure.

YOUR TASKS

  • You are the ‘Go-To-Person’ for the topic System Administration at Comtravo
  • You install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes (Experience with Atlassian/ Confluence is a plus)
  • You provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • You are responsible for budgeting of new platforms and assembly costs.
  • You cooperate with internal and external stakeholders (Office Management, IT Security and Network administrator) regarding all related IT topics
  • You troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • You are planning and setting up the strategy for the integration of acquired companies from a technical perspective (process definitions, timeline- and budget estimations, tooling evaluations, etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have at least two years experience in a fast-growing start-up with 100+ employees
  • You have a thorough knowledge of computer maintenance (MacOS, Windows) and related processes (backups, license management, setup of new machines, network troubleshooting etc.)
  • You are familiar with networking and office equipment (AP, switches, beamers, softphone etc.) and consider yourself to be hands on
  • You have experience with GSuite management
  • You are an organized and responsible person
  • You have a great team spirit, a service oriented mindset and outstanding communication skills (in English, German is a big plus)
