About the Role

We are hiring an Operation Specialists for our Operations team in Berlin. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to become part of a growing B2B online marketplace. You will be challenged every day by an exciting, fast-paced environment and manage every step of the laboratory ordering process while creating meaningful relationships with our customers and vendors.

In this role you will:
  • Manage the order processing for our marketplace for laboratory supplies and accessories
  • Guide our customers and partner dealers through the procurement process and support them in case of emerging problems
  • Independently process and control invoices from suppliers in different countries, taking local requirements into account
  • Support our suppliers and customers via chat, e-mail, and phone and escalate problems according to the requirements
  • Contact our suppliers to request missing invoices and delivery information
  • Support effective cross-departmental communication of feedback to improve the customer experience 
  • Assist in defining process and system improvements to facilitate scaling of order volume 
  • Work evening shifts from 14:00 to 23:00 (Monday-Friday)

About You

  • Excellent English skills, both written and oral. French and/or German is plus 
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sciences, or similar 
  • First practical experiences in e-commerce, customer service, and/or supply chain management
  • Enjoy solving problems creatively and thrive on new challenges 
  • Feeling comfortable working autonomously as well as excelling in a team environment 
  • You are flexible and have a desire to grow in an agile start-up environment 
  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work 
  • Experience with FreshDesk or other ticketing systems (HubSpot, Zendesk, etc.) is a plus
