Strategic Designer

We are looking for a Strategic Designer to join our motivated team in Berlin.

Your Tasks

  • Design and conduct ethnographic research, incl. preparations, scheduling, interview guides, reporting, research synthesis;
  • Analyze the findings, discover patterns and elevate the research to actionable frameworks and insights;
  • Develop the conceptual models using both lo-fi and hi-fi wireframing techniques, as well as clickable prototyping;
  • Deliver recommendations to the product and design team, based on best practice and analysis derived from research and discovery;
  • Bring the research to life through personas, customer journeys, system maps, user stories, conceptual scenarios and infographics;
  • Work with the product team to identify and recommend the best methods to answer UX product research questions and prioritize them;
  • Align concepts with strategic perspective for new designs and consider stakeholder implications;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that product development and delivery is consistent with consumer insights and strategy.


  • 2+ years of relevant experience in conducting user behavior research and building products;
  • Successfully completed higher education in Design, Business, Psychology, Strategy, Marketing or similar;
  • Technical proficiency with Sketch, Indesign and similar;
  • Experience in user research and user-centric design processes, divergent exploration and conceptual development;
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating strong human-centered design capabilities across a diverse range of projects is a must;
  • An enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills;
  • The ability to synthesise research into concrete recommendations and communicate them to business audiences;
  • Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus.
