Who we are

We are Phantasma Labs and we are building massive simulations to teach self - driving cars human behavior. We are a young venture backed startup with an ambitious team who have both worked in the tech industry in the areas of simulations and distributed systems. Now we are looking to hire our first Strategic Business Developer.

We are on an exciting journey to build a deeply technical product which has the potential to accelerate deployment of self-driving cars in cities, make them safe enough for human beings to interact with and enable a plethora of other new mobility and infrastructure solutions. We are backed by world-renowned venture capitalists.

We are a remote friendly company and welcome applicants who want to work in Berlin as well as remote from time zones CET +/- 4 hours. We cannot sponsor visas  for applicants currently outside the European Union.
 

Who we are looking for

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Business Development roles relating to emerging technologies, particularly SaaS products
  • Experience in leading business development and sales processes
  • Go-getter mindset in driving new business opportunities
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Basic understanding of AI and simulation technologies
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)

 

Daily tasks at Phantasma

  • Understand the value chain of the autonomous driving industry
  • Expand our client-base by identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into clients
  • Build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
  • Articulate and demonstrate Phantasma’s value proposition to the management and key stakeholders of relevant businesses in the industry  
  • Prepare necessary customized sales materials 
  • Work closely with Phantasma’s executive team in determining use-cases, product-market fit and pricing
  • Identify the product needs of customers and communicate them to Phantasma’s internal technical team 
  • Identify new market spaces in different industries for Phantasma’s products and services
  • Accompany clients during the sales process and handle the necessary sales task - from proposal to signing
