WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Become part of our development team, which develops web applications for customers in the industrial sector.
  • In the frontend, you will work with a current version of Angular and TypeScript to perform tasks such as further developing the user interface for process modeling, or developing our WebGL real-time map view. 
  • The roadmap also includes the development of additional product areas.- If you have knowledge of Python, you will design and implement algorithms to analyze localization data, connect it to data from third-party systems, and prepare the information for reporting.
  • You will then participate in the creation of dashboards in the frontend. Applications include the analysis and the automation of production and logistics processes.
  • In addition, there is the possibility to work on our IoT platform for the administration and configuration of devices. Among other things, node.js is used for this purpose.
  • You can also contribute to the configuration and customization of our platform for specific customer projects, depending on your interests. Part of these tasks is often to negotiate and implement interface integration with the customer's peripheral systems.
  • For some tasks, you will work with developers from our sensor network or hardware team. In addition, you will be in close contact with product management to coordinate requirements and prepare for implementation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Studies in informatics, media informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Very good programming skills in JavaScript, especially single-page applications, ideally also node.js.
  • Safe handling of HTML5 and CSS3 is a prerequisite. Design skills would be a plus.
  • Experience in the use of database systems.
  • Ideally, knowledge in backend development and experience with WebSockets and/or message queues.
  • Experience with git and methods of agile software development.
