Senior UI Designer

scoutbee's AI-driven suite helps procurement leaders find global suppliers faster and gain deep insights to make confident purchasing decisions. We are constantly dealing with a huge amount of data to find the best suppliers for our customers. As a UI Designer you will work in an interdisciplinary team. Together with the UX Designer you will research current market trends, user insights and needs, to define the future and success of our platform. You are representing the visual side of our products and you know how to communicate design decisions to stakeholders and management. In addition, you are responsible for a consistent brand experience across all digital touchpoints and to enhance our design systems.

Your role in our beehive

• Create visual designs, interface designs and interactive designs for a complex platform and responsive websites in a consistent dialogue with our corporate and brand strategy.
• Support the team in creating UI prototypes and gather user feedback.
• Work out UI specifications and help us build our emerging design system by refining UI libraries and components. 
• Accompany the agile implementation of the UI to technical development.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team with Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers and the involved company departments of the project.
• Drive design matters proactively, being always up to date about the latest design tools, methods, processes, and trends.

What you bring to our beehive

• 7+ years of working experience in digital product design (mobile and web applications or software solutions)
• Experience in visual & interactive design 
• Affinity for solving complex design challenges
• A solid understanding of CI conform design. Ability to work with modular design systems, design libraries, and design system refinement
• Experienced in low & high-fidelity prototyping
• User centered thinking
• Familiar with basic user research methods  
• Familiar with the Design Thinking process and methods
• Must be proficient utilising a wide range of tools including Sketch, Adobe CC, Marvel, Zeplin, and Abstract. Figma is nice to have
• Great at articulating design decisions fluently in English
• Teamplayer
