We are looking for a strong new member for our Solution Engineering team to lead a small squad of other Solution Engineers with focus on IVION. This person will report to The Solution Engineering Team Lead, and will be the main point of contact with the IVION and Positioning Development teams.

We seek an outstanding person with strong development and troubleshooting skills, and ability to lead a small team. Together we want to bring digital twins to every room and built a great community at NavVis. Looking forward ​for ​you to join us !

You will work on:

  • Analyzing, troubleshooting and reproducing complex technical customer issues with our IVION software and its API as well as managing and finding long term improvements for those issues 
  • Understanding and analyzing customer issues and feedback as well as statistical data to improve the user experience and reliability of our IVION software and API together with our product owners
  • Coach and develop the team, and prioritize their workload to ensure that Customer Satisfaction, Service Level Agreements and Quality Goal KPIs are achieved
  • Developing scripts, tools and processes for health checks of NavVis products and delivering them to our clients 
  • Listening to and nurturing our customer facing teams ensuring that their feedback is highlighted with the right internal development team
  • Supporting product owners and our User Education Team with managing smooth software releases 
  • Developing and running product trainings for our Technical Account Managers whenever new software releases or hardware updates are available

You have:

  • A degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar or no degree but self-taught deep understanding of software 
  • Experience with REST APIs, versioning and documentation
  • A solid understanding of troubleshooting and fixing JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Knowledge and experience working with Scrum and agile project management
  • Curiosity and ability to grasp new web frameworks and libraries
  • Familiarity with Unix environments
  • A general knowledge of standard internet protocols: HTTP(S), web sockets, SSH, etc.
  • People Management experience and/or a natural leadership skills
  • Hands-on experience working with software engineering teams  
  • An eye for detail for understanding and proposing viable solutions
  • Practical experience in B2B customer service, solutions/support engineering or similar
  • Confidence in connecting customer facing teams with development teams
  • A client-first mindset and drive to go the extra mile driven by fantastic communication & listing skills
  • Ability to juggle a variety of tasks and projects without lowering the bar on quality
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
