Senior SEO Manager heycar Group (m/f/d)

In the  heycar  Group we set the strategic direction for all heycar organization. We support market organizations in the UK, Spain and Germany and we work on the roll out of heycar into new markets as well as on expanding our investor & partner landscape.  

You will be part of newly established central marketing team. Together, you will support various activities in our existing markets and help setting up Marketing CRM best practices and infrastructure in new countries across the Europe. If you like working in dynamic environment and setting up your channel from scratch, this is job for you! 


Who we are looking for. 


  • Bachelor or Master graduate in Business-related fields, Digital Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent 
  • You are a SEO super star, with comprehensive SEO expertise
  • You are a master in keyword research, backlink building and content creation 
  •  You have experience in key analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screamingfrog, MOZ, Ahrefs etc.  
  • You are comfortable working with developers and have a base knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS 
  • You are data-driven and detail oriented 
  • You have proven successes utilizing analytics to support strategic recommendations and drive concrete action, i.e. conversion funnel improvements 
  • You understand the site structure and infrastructure including pages, hubs, header nav, internal linking, pagination, site map 
  • You have experience with site performance optimization 
  • You have excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple shareholders, you are comfortable working with developers 
  • You like to own your projects end to end, you have drive, initiative and passion to learn and express ideas 
  • You have the ability to adapt & be reactive in a fast-moving work environment 
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in central marketing teams 
  • You have strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects the same time 
  • Fluent in English (German or French would be an advantage) 


What you will do.  

  • Define Go to Market SEO strategy 
  • Work closely with the Tech and Product team to ensure search best practices proper implementation on newly and existing pages; ensure website navigation and coding best practices proper implementation 
  • Develop SEO guidelines and best practices for new heycar markets based on your expertise, experience from other markets and keyword analysis 
  • Together with local teams, define, monitor and analyse all available search KPIs and metrics to measure success across all markets 
  • Work on all on- page/tech SEO activities, including taxonomy, canonicalization, web crawlability and indexability, page speed, mark-up (, etc 
  • Together with central product squads, execute on-site and off-site audits and develop performance improvement recommendations  
  • Analyse opportunities to increase rank for underperforming competitive pages and provide specific and actionable recommendations 
  • Work closely with central and local content managers to ensure high content performance and organic visibility 
  • Build a platform for cross-markets knowledge sharing, leverage knowledge and assets from existing markets most effectively across new countries, establishing tools for assets sharing, providing recommendation for other central services 
  • Administration of the SEO marketing tools and account
