What you will do
For our Manufacturing Database/API we are looking for a talented Python developer. Our Manufacturing DB is an in-house solution for tracking our production steps and quality assurance based on FastAPI. It integrates with various pieces of software such as our ERP, our Manufacturing UI system, cloud-based data, … This is a Holoplot solution and the users are your colleagues.
- You help improving and maintaining our Production Database and API including the various adapters and data import/export capabilities
- You help extending the scope of the Production Database to incorporate further processes and teams as Customer Service
What you need to succeed in this role
- Your Python skills are awesome
- You have experience writing restful services with one of the many Python libraries out there and you have experience with FastAPI
- You have a dedication to modern and clean code, testability, maintainability and continuous integration
- You have some idea about deploying Python applications to a production environment
- You are an excellent out-of-the-box thinker with a can-do attitude
- You understand the principles of open-source approaches
