Senior People Business Partner - Tech & Product (f/m/d)

We are looking for a hands-on Senior People Business Partner to join our ride at Blacklane People Experience team in Berlin, London or Barcelona. You will use tools, data, and creativity to inspire our crew and leads by setting up together the best strategies to build strong teams.

  • Coach our leaders and people. You build strong relationships with all stakeholders in the business and you influence by coaching. You act with a sense of urgency and adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment..
  • Develop our organisation. You will take Blacklane to the next level by supporting our leaders and the organization as a whole in becoming a global team by enabling remote work. You develop our People & Culture strategy, closely supporting the overall strategy and OKRs of the organization, in collaboration with the leadership teams.
  • People Champion. You are the single point of contact and employee advocate for people People & Culture related questions (feedback, engagement, legal, payroll, processes, etc.).
  • Solve complex problems. You have the ability to solve moderate to complex problems; you are resourceful and take initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving. You analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop solutions, programs, and opportunities for learning.
  • Innovate and try out new things. Act as a strategic sparring partner for Blacklane’s leaders in onboarding, performance feedback, learning & development, and compensation & benefits. Work closely with our Talent Attraction Manager. Develop, innovate, and improve our existing People & Culture processes.



  • Strong background in HR. You have experience in scale ups with more than +500 people and would consider yourself as a generalist in HR (onboarding, feedback, learning & development and compensation & benefits) especially from service and/or technology companies. You’ve had exposure globally and can easily partner up with people and leaders all over the world from Australia to the United Arab Emirates.
  • Experience working with Global Talent. We have hubs in Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, Brisbane and Los Angeles.
  • Emotional Intelligence. You have a very strong EQ, with fine tuned instincts and problem solving skills.
  • Data lover. You get excited about data and use metrics and data to determine the best ways to approach challenges. You are comfortable crunching numbers to provide the business with insights on how we’re doing and on how we can improve.
  • Great communication skills. You are comfortable interacting with executive team members, carrying courageous conversations and building  strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders. You are a great presenter and ambassador of Blacklane! 
  • Innovative and flexible. You are the champion of staying up to date with global HR trends . You are  able to try out new approaches, are comfortable with ambiguity, and manage multiple things on the fly.
  • Passion. You have a deep passion for technology, the travel industry, and the ground transportation space, as well as Blacklane’s products and services.
