What do these teams do?
The People Compensation / Payroll Specialist team handles the full-cycle payroll and pension / retirement plan
reporting for the global organization as well as the administration of our benefit portals and support
on payroll- and pension-/benefit- related questions within Klarna. The team works in close
cooperation with other HR teams and Accounting, as well as our payroll- and benefit providers within
the different markets.
The People Support / Human Resources Coordinator team provides HR service and support to the global organization by taking full
ownership of all people and team related questions within Klarna. The team is the first point of contact for all employees and also acts as a coordinator of requests further to other teams within the Org & Lead domain.
What will you do in the team?
You will work on a variety of tasks including but not limiting to; administering the full-cycle payroll for our different legal
entities, handling questions from employees across the entire organization on pension,
benefits and payroll or HR-related inquiries, make contact with employees and leads from across the entire organization
Payroll: You will be responsible for making sure that the payroll in your markets (primary focus on our US
and Canadian workforce) is correct and executed in due time. The team works in pairs towards
certain market-clusters and regions, but also supports across regions in times of need. You will also
take care of various employee related questions in JIRA as well as handle inquiries by connected
internal and external stakeholders. Currently, the team consists of 8 people from 4 different
nationalities, all located in Stockholm, Sweden. As one of the first local team members in our
Columbus office, you will work closely both with your team from Stockholm as well as members of
other People teams onside in Columbus, ensuring a smoooth alignment of HR activities across
People teams and scopes.
Human Resources: You will be responsible for making sure that all our data in Workday is correct and aligned with Klarna's operating model. You will act as a gatekeeper and make sure we have qualitative data. You will also take care of various employee related issues and questions as well as handle the pre-boarding in the system of new hires. You will be supporting Leads across all markets with organizational changes, working with reports as well as learning general Org and Lead procedures. You will be updating employment changes in the system, including issuing agreements, closely working with competence leads and other Org and Leads teams.
These different teams are constantly working on developing and improving processes and routines, challenging
the status quo and driving projects is another important part of your work.
The position is located at Klarna’s office at 629 N. High St. in Columbus, OH. During the current
