What is the team doing?

The People Compensation team handles the monthly payroll and pension reporting for the global organization as well as the administration of our benefit portals and support on payroll- and pension-/benefit- related questions within Klarna. The team works in close cooperation with other HR teams and Accounting, as well as our payroll- and benefit providers within the different markets.

What will you do:

You will be responsible for ensuring that compben operations (payroll, pension reporting, benet administration) in all of our markets are correct and executed in due time.

You will be leading the team in both the daily deliverables as well as the long-term individual development. You will be responsible for the team’s KPI deliverables, performance and staffing as well as resource planning. You will report to the Operational Group Lead within Klarna’s HR function as well as working in close alignment with the leads of other People teams as your primary stakeholders. You will also be involved in several function-wide activities to bring Klarna’s employee offering to the next level. Yours is a key role in Klarnas employee compben offering and operations. As the team is constantly working on developing and improving processes and routines, challenging the status quo and driving improvement projects is another important part of your work.

  • You have an interest in HR and HR systems and want to expand your knowledge around it.
  • Experience with JIRA, Workday, SAGE People and/or Payroll systems (e.g. Agda) is a merit.
  • You take initiative to develop and improve processes.
  • You are fully working proficient in English. Additional language skills are a merit, especially Scandinavian languages.
  • Professional background in relevant areas is a merit, especially if you are familiar with processing equity and RSUs through payroll.
