Your responsibilities

  • Run, optimize, and monitor our server environment:

    • 700+ bare-metal servers

    • AWS and GCP

    • Debian GNU/Linux, NGINX, haproxy, php-fpm, MySQL/MariaDB, Jenkins, Gearman

    • Graylog, Prometheus, Grafana

  • Work with remote bare-metal machines primarily via CLI

  • Implement and maintain a system for monitoring our infrastructure

  • Deploy applications through continuous integration

  • Initiate, support, and help integrate new operations projects

  • Ensure operations related activities are performed in compliance with all company standards and regulations

  • Work closely with the engineering teams and provide infrastructure for new projects

What you bring to the team

  • 8+ years experience in Operations

  • 5+ years experience in Linux administration (Debian preferred) on the CLI

  • 1+ years experience in Ansible

  • For development and debugging purposes, you must be familiar with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, PHP, C/C++

  • (Distributed) Job Queue experience is a plus

  • Passionate about security, new technologies, and building things the right way

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
