About the role:

We’re looking for a seasoned marketer to deliver high level comms plans regionally, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously to ensure they are efficiently managed through to implementation across borders, have a macro view of global campaigns, and lead the delivery of multi-merchant campaigns in your market. You will work in the merchant planning team as the regional planning and coordination lead, working with some of the world’s leading retailers.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with co-marketers and cross functional teams internally (Business Development, Marketing, Integrations etc.) to brief and own central activations that can promote multiple partners and to drive a holistic success plan for merchants 
  • Develop strategic marketing plans across owned, paid and earned channels to drive mutual value for Klarna and merchant partners
  • Work closely with agency partners on media and creative; manage project, scope and timeline
  • Advise merchant marketing teams on annual communications planning
  • Identify conflicts and opportunities at a global level
  • Own and manage the global view of activity, scheduling, optimising and ensuring total output is coherent and effective

Who you are

  • 4-6 years experience simultaneously managing and coordinating multiple campaigns across geographies
  • Team oriented, organised and highly resourcefulSkilled at operating cross-functionally
  • You should be a local media landscape expert who feels comfortable interacting with and managing relationships with global stakeholders at merchant partners
  • You’ll have worked across the full marketing mix and have substantial experience co-ordinating performance marketing
  • Media planning and strategy, budget optimisations and project management are strengths for you
  • You should also have had experience working in or for leading retail brands and ecommerce. You could have acquired this experience in an agency environment or client side but it is essential you are a senior operator, can manage complexity and simplify outputs for others
