Senior Manager, People Operations

As a senior manager for people operations, you will be responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits, on and offboarding, payroll, people analytics and policies & procedures.  

This role reports directly to the chief people officer and is part of the people leadership team. You will work closely with the international people team as well as functional stakeholders such as finance, to ensure operational excellence and best practice as it relates to people operations, across all of our offices.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL …

  • Lead and develop a diverse team of People specialists with a focus on providing the highest level of service to our business
  • Take ownership of designing processes to drive optimization and constant improvement of processes connected with the employee life-cycle
  • Develop and manage scalable solutions for your area of responsibility, including HR administration, benefits, payroll and on-/offboarding
  • Need to stay informed of federal, state, and agency compliance matters and serve as an expert in labor law compliance in all locations in which sennder operates
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into system and process requirements
  • Develop strategic objectives and deliverables, create and drive project plans whilst leading stakeholder engagement & alignment
  • Own the relationship with vendors and service providers to improve People Operations efficiency and employee experience

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE

  • 8 + years experience in an operative HR role with in depth knowledge of People Operations
  • Profound experience leading and developing a high-performing team, including creating and executing a team vision
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategies that drive business results
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational development and employee relations
  • Analytical skills, you make decisions based on data and enjoy using data to create a narrative and build influence
  • Curiosity, flexibility and are a dedicated problem solver. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
