Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing

sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing to join our global Marketing & Communications team.

As Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing, you will own the performance marketing strategy and execution across all markets. You will maximize customer acquisition, developing creative marketing strategies across a number of different channels such as: SEO, Online Paid Media (SEM, Paid Social), Email, Events, Affiliates/Partnerships. You will also build a tailored strategy for regional campaigns for each market, adjusting budgets and channels accordingly. You are driven by analytical excellence and will report on performance weekly, monthly and quarterly and use insights to push future strategy. Most importantly, you will be managing a growing team of performance marketing specialists.

You will be collaborating closely with various teams and stakeholders including program managers, regional general managers, analysts, senior leadership and the broader marketing and communications team to set and hit ambitious targets for customer acquisition.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Develop sennder’s performance marketing strategy to grow visibility of our products and services among shippers and carriers and drive lead generation
  • Work with regional teams to build tailored campaigns for their market
  • Build streamlined reporting and performance analysis in collaboration with analytics teams
  • Manage a team of performance marketing specialists to achieve ambitious acquisition and ROI targets

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE

  • A degree in Marketing, Business Intelligence or equivalent experience
  • At least 10+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth or digital marketing roles with at least 2 years of people management experience
  • Experience at an agency or in an agency environment for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge and experience across several performance marketing approaches, particularly SEM, SEO Paid Social, CRM, and affiliate management
  • The ability to think logically and can create a multifaceted strategy for customer acquisition based on diverse inputs
  • The ability to communicate to different stakeholders, inspire others and  lead a team
