Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced UX writer to improve the user journey on Since the content is written by many stakeholders, your job is to define standards and patterns that reflect our propositions, support business goals, and create a cohesive, coherent web experience. You’ll also be the UX voice in content discussions with Brand, Marketing, and Communications.

What you will do

  • Own the content strategy and vision for creating a compelling, clear user journey on and into our products
  • Define the messaging hierarchy, patterns, and guidelines for navigation, pages, and other web content
  • Develop best practices for how should work with product and marketing stakeholders
  • Dig into quantitative and qualitative data for opportunities to improve website copy, architecture, and flows
  • Create hypotheses, write variants, and analyze results for research and experiments
  • Ensure site updates meet Klarna’s design standards for voice/tone, UX writing, and user experience
  • Collaborate with other UX writing leads to develop the UX writing craft at Klarna
  • Mentor and coach UX writers who report to you

Who you are

  • 5+ years experience working in UX writing, content strategy, or content design for digital products, apps, or websites
  • Experience working with global products
  • Experience working in rapidly scaling tech environments a plus
  • A great understanding of design process and usability
  • Experience with UX research, for example, designing and analyzing experiments, applying learnings to the product experience
  • The ability to discuss the pros and cons of content, from the information architecture down to the word level, and persuade stakeholders of the best solution
  • A data-driven approach to your design process and decision making
  • Experience with product design tools is a plus, but not required (Sketch, Figma, etc.)
