We are looking for an Account Manager who will help us build and manage relationships with top-tier clients and maximize sales opportunities through expansion of current customers.  
As a B2B marketplace, we acquire and serve scientists & purchasers by empowering them to identify optimal products among all vendors, handling their orders, optimizing purchasing processes and delivering best customer services. We are searching for an outstanding individual to acquire scientists & purchasers for our marketplace, develop existing accounts in close collaboration with the entire sales team and the Chief Revenue Officer.

Your Tasks

  • Own and achieve monthly sales (Gross Merchandise Revenue) targets
  • Sell solutions and services to new & existing customers by outbound telephone calls
  • Prepare and deliver online demonstrations of business solutions to prospective customers (scientists & purchasing)
  • Develop customer relationships and identify new opportunities to deliver the Zageno solution
  • Perform customer account analyses, set targets, and translate into sales planning
  • Collaborate with other commercial functions – platform promoters, integration, marketing, content, technology, founders – to drive our collective success
  • Report directly to one of the co-founders

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience inside of digital sales, e.g., SAAS, B2B customer acquisition, and business development
  • Proven track record of strong revenue growth, account acquisition, and development
  • Ability to close deals and negotiate beneficial terms with senior management
  • Develop international inside sales acquisition & development strategy
  • Build and lead a team of inside sales specialists
  • Design and implement internal business processes
  • Ideally industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
  • Competitive commercial driven mindset
  • Experience working in very international work environments
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Biology experience not a requirement
