Accounting/Finance at Klarna consists of highly driven people with a combination of analytical skills and a great team spirit! In particular, the team strives for leading-edge financial reporting, using state-of-the art tech.

As part of an Accounting team you will:

  • Immediately manage AP/AR functions along with T&E policy/procedures
  • Assist in Month/Quarter/Year end close process
  • Automate merchant and consumer facing processes
  • Have the ability to successfully manage multiple system improvement projects
  • Accurately identify and correct gaps in procedure, and have the willingness to own the process and improve
  • Create new reporting tools to track KPIs
  • Perform audit preparation as needed
  • Act as liaison between Finance US and Customer Service
  • Perform daily Bank and GL reconciliations

Who you are

  • Bachelors Degree in Business
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a startup type mentality
  • Organized self-starter and able to work independently
  • Experience with SAP/Concur/Basware-AP is a plus
  • Established communication skills and customer service understanding
  • Previous experience with third party collections nice to have but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
