Senior DB DevOps - Platform

As a Senior Database DevOps Engineer - Platform, you will be working alongside other Database DevOps Engineers to design and maintain database cloud infrastructure solutions to facilitate rapid delivery of features to our customers.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about new technologies, who's excited about collaborating with other engineers, enjoys taking ownership of their work, wants to help us think about and design new infrastructure solutions, wants to introduce new technology ideas, and who is eager to learn and self-improve.

What you'll do:

• Ensure availability, security and resilience of Production and Development database systems
• Research, analyze, implement and maintain new technology solutions for data stores
• Closely work with other DevOps engineers around the World to improve rollout and deployment of new databases to facilitate our fast paced and exponential growth
• Follow the IaC paradigm and therefore automate, automate and automate…

You'll be great for this position if:

• You have proficiency in relational databases
• You have hands-on scripting with shell and knowledge of Python/Ruby/Golang
• You have experience with cloud providers
• You have knowledge of Kubernetes
• You have experience with monitoring
• You have experience with highly available systems
• You have experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Packer, or similar)
• You have experience with CI/CD tools
