Your Role

Do you have a desire to develop, document and learn about highly distributed, event sourced systems, code infrastructure the same way as applications, be able to spawn the entire system on your laptop? Then we definitely should talk!

Your Role:

  • Develop awesome backend applications in mainly the Java 14 as well as other potential languages (like JavaScript and Go) for the infrastructure and network components
  • Take part in all steps of building distributed systems - plan, develop, deploy and maintain event sourced, microservices oriented systems
  • Improve and further develop the current deployment pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure (AWS CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Maintain, monitor and improve existing services, libraries and infrastructure
  • Focus on quality of code through proper testing and developer experience for other team members

Your Profile

  • Experience implementing or designing highload, event-sourced or event streaming system
  • Strong experience developing modern Java applications and deploying them in public clouds with full awareness of the infrastructure behind
  • Fluency in testing strategies involving container environment
  • Desire to document new ideas and complex flows with great detail level
  • Fluency in English
