The role:

Klarna’s browser extension group is looking to add a Senior Analytics Manager taking on the Lead Analyst role for the group who will help deliver the smooothest and most transparent extension shopping experience to the world. This team aims to provide users access to Klarna’s shopping features so they can find the best deals, save their favorite items, and slice their purchases in an affordable way.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively drive product growth and the consumer experience through insight generation based on user behavior
  • Set up and communicate best practices between analysts in the group and share learnings across the domain 
  • Ensure the quality of the analytics setup in the group
  • Lead investigations and communicate metrics performance trends and other key indicators to leadership
  • Coach and support the more junior analysts within the group by providing insights on topics that are important but fall between the group’s team responsibilities/focus and ensuring necessary actions are taken
  • Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to build and enhance existing tracking methods.
  • Work closely with the product team to perform quantitative analysis of customer data, including gathering data requirements and validating data, applying judgment and statistical analysis to assist with planning and decision making
  • Leverage data to assess, diagnose, and prescribe product optimizations to exceed users' expectations

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in relevant field/industry working with digital consumer-facing products
  • Experience leading/coaching other analysts
  • SQL expertise
  • Proven track record in driving product growth through analytics by understanding current performance; identifying insights related to challenges faced by consumers; creating hypotheses around how to improve the product/feature; and, validating hypotheses through experimentation (A/B and multivariate testing)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, lawyers, etc.
