About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to build one of Klarna's most interesting teams from the ground up - the Product Reviews team, in the Klarna App domain. You will have an impact from day 1 and work to ensure that we set a solid analytical foundation built to scale globally. Moreover, you will join a new team with a lot of freedom to shape the culture, team principles, and ways of working.
 
About the team

Our vision is to be the first place trusted to review and discover rated items, brands, or shopping experiences. We aim to create a seamless experience from discovery to emotion sharing post-purchase. A place where customers can review, share, research, and discover authentic reviews about items, brands, merchants, or the shopping experience itself.
 
We currently have a POC in production. The ambition during 2022 is to iterate on the POC, learn more about customer behaviors and the impact, build a more stable MVP, and execute a beautiful launch of the full product.
 
This position is located in Toronto, Canada where we are currently setting up a brand new engineering office for the product reviews team, and many more teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively track KPIs and performance
  • Build dashboards and communicate metrics performance trends and other key indicators to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to build and enhance existing tracking methods
  • Work closely with the product team to perform quantitative analysis of customer data, including gathering data requirements and validating data, applying judgment and statistical analysis to assist with planning and decision making
  • Leverage data to assess, diagnose, and prescribe product optimizations to exceed users' expectations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in relevant field/industry working with digital consumer-facing productsA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a Business field.
  • SQL proficiency
  • Programming languages is a plus (R, Python, etc).
  • Experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving.
  • An understanding for how to perform data extraction and manipulation.
  • Significant drive and ambition.
  • Strong conceptual ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of ownership.
  • A curious mindset - you’ll be someone who loves to question the why.
