Working in Marketing at Klarna means being a part of world-class strategic and creative marketing frameworks, guiding the Klarna brand in all marketing touchpoints. You will be responsible for making sure we’re making the best marketing decisions at Klarna by bringing technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the team's data in ways that help the team, businesses, and organizations make better decisions.

Locations: New York City or Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:

  • Creating easy-to-understand and insightful reporting for KPI and supporting-KPI tracking.
  • Performing ad hoc analytics based on stakeholder requests and questions.
  • Enabling the team to be able to make data-driven decisions when planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Setting benchmarks and tracking for KPIs
  • Constructs innovative strategic solutions that apply advanced analytics, data
  • Gathers and analyzes marketing data using database queries, spreadsheets, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Continuously seek to improve performance, quality, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3+ years of analytics experience (marketing experience preferred)
  • Expert in SQL query writing
  • Ability to visualize data in a digestible manner
  • Ability to predict and execute on the analytical needs of stakeholders based on current projects and problem spaces.
  • Understanding of the relationships between a broad range of data and how it impacts marketing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Airflow a plus
  • Jira and Amplitude experience a plus
