The Role
 
The key objective of this role is to drive revenue growth by selling ResearchGate Marketing Solutions, taking responsibility for all aspects of the sales process, from cold calling to closing and smooth campaign activation.
 
Our Sales Managers are constantly achieving and exceeding individual and team targets through the process of new client acquisition, which encompasses anticipating client needs, understanding  their short and long-term objectives, and delivering ResearchGate offerings that meet those objectives.
 
Our Products

Our Marketing Solutions products allow scientists and researchers to see ads for the exact services and products they need whilst providing companies the opportunity to target their advertising to a specific scientific audience. 
 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience ideally in a high-intensity sales environment
  • Full-funnel sales experience from cold calling to closing
  • Ideally some previous experience in online advertising
  • Demonstrable history of achieving or exceeding revenue goals and the ability to accurately forecast revenue
  • Experience working with CRM software, particularly Salesforce
  • High energy and drive
  • Ability to create a sense of urgency minimizing length of sales cycle while balancing client needs
  • A strong passion for phone sales and drive to keep high activity levels at every stage of a sale  Goal-oriented, organized, and proactive team player who is self-motivated and self-directed
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
