As a Business to Business (B2B) marketplace, we acquire and serve scientists & purchasers by empowering them to identify optimal products among all vendors, handle their orders, optimize their purchasing processes and deliver the best customer service. We are searching for an exceptional individual to contribute to ZAGENO’s growth and success through new account acquisition for our marketplace in close collaboration with the sales team, VP of Sales and Chief Commercial Officer.

 

Your Tasks

  • Own and achieve monthly Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and sales targets
  • Build a robust GMV sales pipeline with accounts in assigned territory
  • Learn and understand how to successfully position ZAGENO’s SaaS (Software as a Service) Marketplace offering and solution
  • Successfully engage existing and prospective customers in calls and face-to-face meetings to drive sales opportunities forward to closure
  • Prepare and deliver demonstrations that showcase the value of the ZAGENO solution to prospective customers (senior leaders, scientists, lab managers and procurement professionals)
  • Perform proper account and territory planning
  • Strategically orchestrate resources and collaborate both internally and externally throughout the sales process to win.
  • Report to the VP, Sales

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS or digital sales, e.g., life sciences, biopharma, B2B customer acquisition, and/or business development
  • Have shown a consistent track record of strong growth and account acquisition
  • You have positive relationships within the life science’s industry in all or some of the following: biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and/or academic research/medical centers
  • You have an ambitious and commercially driven mindset
  • You are interested in working in an international work environment and culture
  • You have experience with consultative selling (questioning, listening, managing call dynamics, handling objections, closing for next steps)
  • You are a strong presenter, both in person and virtually
  • You are fluent in German
