The fit we hope to find 

We are looking for a talented and experienced sales expert, who has a deep understanding of omni-channel retailing (in-store and online), who knows how to consult and sell technical solutions (SaaS, hardware, integrations and customizations), who is a real team player, and who has the ambition to grow SafeSize significantly.

Our solution is used by thousands of retailers worldwide and growing at a fast pace. For our DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region, we want to welcome a Sales Manager to the team who knows how to grow our business. The focus is on finding new retailers to work with and collaborate with our current partners to make them more successful when they use our 3D solutions. You will work both from the HQ in Almere (NL) and in the field, where you search, prospect, sell, and manage your accounts. Although your main KPIs will be the growth of our installed base in terms of solutions, it is all about making customers happy with our solution. What you'll do

As Sales Manager DACH you will have the end-to-end responsibility for prospecting, closing, managing and growing our business in the DACH region. Our focus accounts are sports and (lifestyle) shoe retailers and you operate on HQ level and on store level (e.g. franchise organisations) to make the deals. You are part of the EMEA Sales Team, and you will work closely with our Operations (Customer Support, and Delivery & Success Management) and Product teams to make our customers successful. In a nutshell, you will:

  • Prospect new potential customers and convert leads into deals
  • Build and maintain relationship with key customers of SafeSize and grow the business with them
  • Work with customers and the SafeSize team on successful onboarding new customers
  • Monitor the success of pilots
  • Work with Customer Success on monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Identify and realize opportunities for growth within the account

  What you bring

  • At least three years of proven commercial experience in technology / complex solutions
  • Retail experience – sports and/or footwear would be preferred
  • Willingness to travel within your region (~20-30%)
  • Flexibility when it comes to working in the weekends (e.g. fairs)
  • A hands-on mentality with a strong customer service mindset and excellent skills to develop business relations


Who you are

  • A structured salesperson with experience in pipeline management and usage of CRM tooling (preferred Hubspot)
  • An excellent communicator, fluent in both English and German (more languages is a big plus)
  • A curious individual with the drive to acquire skills, to provide and receive feedback and to develop yourself
  • An ambitious professional, with the drive to grow in the role and the company significantly, as SafeSize continues to grow
