What it’s all about

Carbon emissions are still increasing, but we can do something about it. In Europe, 12% of our CO₂ emissions come from heating our homes - just as much as using our cars.

Getting those emissions to zero will be a gargantuan challenge; retrofitting someone’s home is a complex task involving many stakeholders, and there are 90 million buildings that need an upgrade.

Lun is laser focused on making heat pumps the most attractive work for installers across Europe.

Our company has in its short lifespan seen enormous growth, and we’re now looking for more people to join us on our mission to decarbonise homes faster.

The short version

Lun is going to Germany and we need you to make hands-on climate impact happen. You will drive Lun’s initial growth in Germany through partnerships with companies in the field of heat pumps and home refurbishment.

This role is a unique opportunity to enable Lun’s growth in Germany and be part of building a startup from the ground up. You will work closely with our team at HQ and directly engage both installers and corporate partners such as manufacturers, distributors and utilities.

What will you do?

Lun is an early-stage startup and you will be the first employee representing Lun in Germany. That means you will be expected to take on a wide range of tasks to build Lun’s footprint in Germany, working together with our commercial team at HQ.

Some of the most important responsibilities are described below.

The face of the business in Germany. You will be instrumental in making Lun the go-to partner for companies who want to ensure a successful, high-quality and efficient heat pump sales and installation process.

Local sales content, processes and channels. You will set up locally adapted processes, content and channels that can get our product out there quickly.

Build a local partnerships pipeline. You will work with the rest of the Lun team to drive Lun’s efforts to identify potential partners and build a steady pipeline of opportunities.You will manage our partnerships pipeline from first contact to established partnership.

Onboard and activate partners. You will onboard and train partners on how to use our platform and make sure they are active and engaged, so they keep using the product.

Product feedback and improvement. As we learn from early users what works and what doesn’t, it will be essential that you communicate feedback back to our product and tech team.

Build a team. You will be taking the company from 0-1 in Germany and as we grow in Germany, you will help grow a team that can set us up for success.

We are we looking for?

  • A passion for creating hands-on climate impact
  • Demonstrated ability to build a sales organization and deliver on sales targets
  • A structured approach to problem-solving and business development
  • You work independently and gets stuff done and communicate clearly about it
  • Bilingual in German and strong proficiency in English
  • Strong network within the industry (a plus)
  • Building sector experience (a plus)
  • Early stage startup experience (a plus).

You need to be permanently located in Germany and frequent travel is to be expected.
