About the Role

We are looking for a QA Analyst to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and issues, both during the development process as well as in the ‘live’ web applications.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. 
A good technical background and/or knowledge base will stand you in good stead. 
Please note that this does not necessarily mean background in programming, but rather a natural inclination towards technology in general.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our platform, features, and systems work correctly and efficiently, ensuring a delightful user experience for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieving a well-versed knowledge of the platform from end to end.
  • Collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Executing test cases and analyzing results
  • Reviewal, documentation and enhancement of testing processes
  • Evaluating development work in progress according to specifications
  • Monitoring various communication channels to identify possible bugs being experienced by users or staff
  • Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
  • Helping to  troubleshoot issues
  • Conducting regression testing to ensure bug-free releases
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Timeously writing test-cases for newly developed features and/or changes to the platform

About You

  • Experience in or understanding of QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Excellent communication skills
