Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

Intro

We at DataGuard we have a vision “Protect the people behind the data” to achieve this goal we are looking for an ambitious Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d) to develop and execute strategic go-to-market strategies, to open new exiting regions for DataGuard.
Finding creative ways to allow an ongoing feedback loop between us and our customers will come second nature to you, as will influencing across our internal teams to ensure a customer lens is put on all of our product decisions. Do you have experience in creating product demos and you enjoy transferring your knowledge as well to your team members? Do you gained your experiences in SaaS companies, ideally in the b2b sector?

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your deep understanding of our buyers' needs and the competitive landscape to build a compelling narrative for our products and services
  • Work closely with the demand generation team to develop and execute strategic Go-To-Market plans focused on driving company result
  • Develop strategic, timely campaigns to support quarterly themes, leverage industry trends and solve our prospects' problems
  • Work cross functionally across sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to support companywide alignment and ensure flawless product and demand communication
  • Ensure the sales team has everything they need to turn leads into sales and do prospecting towards our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Define target markets: segmentation, buyer personas, and key elements of differentiation including customer centric value messaging
  • Identify new opportunities to create prospect awareness and engagement within our addressable market
  • Connect the content team with the needs of sales and customers to support the creation of high value content assets, including lead magnets, internal and external product communication

Profile

  • You are a creative team player and have at least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable position ideally in B2B software marketing
  • You have a degree, preferably in journalism, psychology, German studies / linguistics, or marketing or alternatively 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position
  • You have a strong affinity for commercial messages or initial experience in content marketing
  • You enjoy using software and are interested in its functionality and benefits
  • You have the confidence to transform technical product features into relevant messages and prepare them in a way that is appropriate for the target group
  • You are curious, outgoing, ask good questions and enjoy getting to know the way of thinking and working of a customer group you are not yet familiar with
  • You are good at formulating and getting to the heart of your messages so that they are understood by the target group
  • Finally, you speak German at a native level to address the target groups specifically
  • Develop strategic, timely campaigns in close collaboration with Campaign Managers and Performance Marketing Managers to get best results to solve our prospects’ problems
