Payroll falls under the People Experience track within the Business Operations Competence. Payroll is right in the heart of internal service at Klarna and we help with various tasks, within different departments, globally. This role is an important pillar when it comes to building our brand and culture here at Klarna. Success in this role means making the service work smoothly within the team's tasks. You are at your best when given responsibility and freedom. You like to take on the initiative and to embrace change, as no day is the same, which makes the job so much more enjoyable! Your administrative skills are tremendous, and you have experience from working with payroll. You love to create order out of chaos, and it will be your solution-oriented mindset that sets you apart from other candidates.

You should have:

  • Relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, additional languages are always helpful
  • A degree from a university. We don’t require any specific subject but a Personnel, Work and Organization Degree is a plus
What we offer you

You will work on a variety of tasks including administering the full-cycle payroll for our different legal entities as well as handling questions from employees across the entire organization on pension, benefits and payroll-related inquiries. You will be responsible for making sure that the payroll in your markets is correct and executed in due time. The team works in pairs towards certain market-clusters and regions, but also supports across regions in times of need. You will also take care of various employee related questions in JIRA as well as handle inquiries by connected internal and external stakeholders. Currently, the team consists of 15 people from 6 different nationalities, 14 located in Stockholm, Sweden and 1 in Columbus, Ohio.  You will work closely both with your team from Stockholm as well as members of our team in the US, ensuring a smoooth alignment of HR activities across People teams and scopes. As the team is constantly working on developing and improving processes and routines, challenging the status quo and driving projects is another important part of your work.
