Content Marketing Manager

Right now, we are looking for a smoooth content marketer to join the Finnish marketing team at our Helsinki office, taking ownership of the content strategy, creation, and curation towards the Finnish speaking consumer. You will plan, manage and execute on our consumer-facing content and ensure the Finnish consumer receives entertaining, engaging, and inspiring content that brings them real value in all Klarna Finland channels.

The work you will do will solve a clearly scoped problem-space with defined KPIs and you will continuously seek improvements in performance and quality.

Who you are

You should be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced international working environment. And we mean fast. You are proactive by nature and strive to add value and innovation to the work we do. You like working in a team and are highly dependable in delivering according to set tasks. 

For this role, you should have native-level Finnish language skills, previous experience managing content calendars, and experience in producing content (both written and visual) from longer articles to social media posts. You are interested in current topics in pop culture and like to stay on top of current trends.

What you will do:

  • Planning and implementation of Klarna Finland’s content strategy
  • Creating written and visual content, as well as curating content (e.g. blog, social media and various digital marketing campaigns) produced in other Klarna markets to fit the needs of the Finnish consumer 
  • Managing the Klarna Finland blog, app content and social media accounts.
  • Creating, managing and optimizing paid marketing campaigns e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and possibly AdWords
  • Analyzing and optimizing the results of content campaigns
  • Providing input to the global content calendar 
  • Working closely with your peers in other Klarna markets to maximize value for our Finnish consumers

What you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in content marketing 
  • Excellent working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written Finnish and English
  • Ability to produce highly engaging and entertaining content in Finnish.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to ideate and produce visual assets with some support from agency partners (when relevant)
  • Previous experience using marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
  • Understanding of web analytics and content KPIs
  • A degree in the fields of communications or marketing
  • A customer-oriented attitude

You might also have:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced startup environment, larger company with a strong entrepreneurial culture, or a company with a strong brand track record
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, retail, payments, tech, banking and/or fintech markets
  • Ability to start small, and learn fast and handle great responsibility. Thinking on your feet and tackling challenges head-on even if you’re not familiar with them (can-do and get-your-hands-dirty attitude) is a great plus
  • Experience in using image editing software, ie: Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in digital publishing platforms, ie: Wordpress
