We are looking for a Senior Marketing Associate to join our rapidly expanding Co-Marketing team. The Co-Marketing team at Klarna is responsible for creating and delivering strategy tools and planning tools for the Partner (merchant) Success Team marketers, so their marketing campaigns will drive ROI and become a core driver of revenue and growth. 

We collaborate with each other and cross-functionally to deliver Co-Marketing annual planning & best practices from big campaigns to brilliant basics, resource coordination for larger merchant campaigns, as well as central campaign initiation and coordination for cross-merchant activity. The person who will be successful in this role should have experience impacting & contributing to multi-stream, integrated co-marketing plans; executing strategy, prioritization, and development. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, can quickly adapt to change and has the ability to prioritize work effectively while taking personal ownership of hands-on delivery. This candidate is also creatively driven and has a pulse on culture and consumer behavior.


  • Support co-marketing lead within a cross-functional Partner Success team composed of top-tier brand partnerships.
  • Lead execution for marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams (social, email, app) and external agency partners.
  • Manage all marketing requests, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist co-marketing lead on enterprise merchant accounts, while also owning and managing a smaller portfolio of enterprise merchants.
  • Execute marketing plans across owned, paid, and earned channels to drive mutual value for Klarna and merchant partners.
  • Leverage internal dashboards to support co-marketing lead with any reporting needs.
  • Execute flawless marketing plans to increase Klarna usage, conversions, and increased AOVs for merchant partners.
  • Own certain merchant accounts and serve as the main POC for our merchants marketing team; build and nurture those relationships.
  • Work internally with channel owners (social, email, site) and broader co-marketing team to build merchant support plan and collaborative co-marketing efforts
  • Support marketing lead in creative conceptive to help deliver on KPI's


  • 4+ years of experience Agency and/or partnerships experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, play a client service role and project manage is a must!
  • Retail experience preferred - thinking like a retailer will be crucial to lead and plan marketing with our merchants
  • Marketing generalist - must be able to dive into many different aspects of marketing from paid social campaigns, to pop-up events, and more.
